Our OTs begin by conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the client's physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental needs. This assessment helps identify the individual's strengths, limitations, and specific goals for therapy.
Based on the assessment findings a personalized treatment plans is developed with the collaboration of the client and his family members. These plans are tailored to address the individual's unique challenges and focus on enhancing their independence and quality of life.
Our occupational therapists work with clients to improve their ability to perform ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating. They may use various techniques and adaptive equipment to facilitate independence in these tasks.
Our clinician assess the client's home environment to identify potential safety hazards and recommend modifications or assistive devices to enhance safety and accessibility. This may include installing grab bars, ramps, handrails, or adaptive equipment to facilitate mobility and independence.
For clients with cognitive impairments, such as those resulting from stroke or traumatic brain injury, our OTs will provide cognitive rehabilitation interventions to improve memory, attention, problem-solving, and other cognitive skills necessary for daily functioning.
Our OT’s assess the need for assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, adaptive utensils, or communication aids. Training is provided on how to use these devices effectively to maximize independence and participation in daily activities.
OTs educate our clients and their caregivers about their condition, treatment strategies, and techniques for managing daily activities independently.
As part of our unified approach as a multidisciplinary team, our Occupational Therapists work alongside various healthcare professionals engaged in the client's.
